Today, I went out with one of my ex-schoolmate to shop for a christmas gift. We hadn't meet in a long time and felt that we may have a lot of things to chat about. Meeting her with her boyfriend was something which I wasn't expecting. Any way, I didn't feel that it would affect our outing much as I thought that I would just be focused on shopping for what I want.
Going to Takashimaya, we went to the top level where toys are sold. I was confused about which toy should I get for my 5 years old nephew. I asked my friend for a suggestion. However, she was busy chatting with her boyfriend and could not hear what I was saying. I repeated her name a few times before I got her attention and there was a slight upset look on her boyfriend's face. After a while of discussing, I felt that it would not be what my nephew would want, so we decided to look for clothes instead.
At the clothes section, again, I was stucked between choosing a cargo pants or a pair of jeans as my taste in fashion wasn't really good. As I asked her again for opinion, the same thing that happened before happened again. This time I got flared up and started reprimanding her and her boyfriend. Her boyfriend couldn't take it and left first, leaving me and my friend alone. Cooling down, we went to The Coffee Bean to have a chat.
At this point, it felt like such an ease talking to her without distractions. At the end of the day we bid farewell and thanked her for finally choosing a gift for me. I went home and reflected upon what happened today realised that it doesnt feel good to be ignored and I made sure from that moment on, I try my best not to let what happened today repeat.

It was saturday and I was staying at home playing Dota with my secondary school classmates. It was an exciting match as we were all evenly skilled. At the crucial point where we were pushing into the enemy base, I lagged and got killed. The enemy gained the upperhand and they killed all my teammates. My friends were furious and started to spam lines and lines of vulgarities at me. I knew that it wasn't really my fault and yet I did not say a word as I was afraid that what I say might make things worse. In the end, we lost the match.
At dinner the same day, I met up with the same friends whom played with me that afternoon. During dinner, one of my friend suddenly flared up and started hurling vulgarities at me. At first, I was puzzled at what was going on. Then I realised that it was about the game that afternoon. Being scolded at face to face is different from being scolded online. Unable to control, I shouted back and defend myself. I could feel the blood rush to my head. He raised his fists is a striking pose and that was when my other friends stood up and resisted him from doing whatever he was going to do.
I was furious and couldn't keep my calm. I went to the toilet to cool myself down. After spending some moment alone in deep thought, I realised that my friendship was on the line and that my friend just went through a breakup. Going back into the restaurant, I apologized to my friend hoping that it would appease him. Luckily, my other friends talked to him too and he managed to calm down too. We apologized to each other in the end and everything ended calmly.

Today, I went to school like any other days. Yet on this particular day, I was waiting for the day to end as I couldn't wait to join my secondary schoolmates for a movie which we had agreed upon. At the end of the day when I was about to leave class, one of my project groupmate called me to inform me that the powerpoint slides which I did on his computer the other day was corrupted. I was stunned for a moment and was frantically praying in my mind that this was just a prank.
I met up with my project groupmates and saw to my horror that the project which I sent them the other day was really corrupted and the file couldn't be opened, let alone be salvaged. I had an hour left before meeting my friends and I decided to rush out the project based on my memory. Half an hour passed, one hour passed. And the project has yet to be completed, I decided that I should give the movie a miss and concentrate on the current work at hand which was important and will affect my results tremendously if I do not do well.
I called up my friends and told them I couldn't make it and why. They understood. Throughout the rest of the day, my group and I worked on the project frantically and finally managed to complete it at 9pm. All of us feeling hungry, decided to eat at a nearby hawker centre for dinner.
