On my first lesson of Business Management, we had a round of introduction and jobs we had done before. On my turn, i introduced myself and elaborated on my job. There was this once where i worked at Toys'R'us at Orchard Road. And at times, I can see foreign chicks from nearby international schools at my workplace.

My teacher then asked why didn't I make friends with them. I replied that I did not feel that i was in their league. My teacher immediately told me that I am a normal boy with nothing bad, so why do i feel bad about myself?

And upon hearing that I dwelled on that thought for a while and from then on I make sure that I do not look down on myself again, because if i do not even look up on myself, who else will? And my teacher then elaborated on self-esteem, saying that it is a very important tool for success.
